a Great Bridal Extravaganza!

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend the Great Bridal Extravaganza at the Tampa airport Marriott - my first ever bridal expo in Florida, and my "debut" as a calligrapher in the Tampa Bay region. Over 100 brides were in attendance, and I got to meet many of them along with their mothers, sisters, bridesmaids and friends. A lot of the young ladies seemed excited to learn that they could have their invitation envelopes addressed by hand, as well as assembled too, if they so choose. It was a great day all around.

Some of the vendors I met and networked with included Mr. Cheesecake, a bakery located in the Bradenton / Sarasota area - they had just come from Maryland and had plenty of samples of their baked goods (I tried them all!), and of course, George, the producer of the bridal show which has its origins in New York. I'm looking forward to working with him again later in the year.  The following are a few pictures taken at the event:
